Once upon a time, in a beautiful garden, there lived two little friends, Lily the bunny and Rosie the sparrow. They were the best of friends and loved playing together every day. One sunny morning, as Lily was hopping around, she noticed that Rosie seemed a bit sad.
'Rosie, what's wrong?' asked Lily with concern.
Rosie sighed softly and said, 'I wish I could fly high up in the sky like the other sparrows. Sometimes I feel different and left out.' This made Lily sad too. She wanted to help her friend feel better.
The next day, Lily hopped over to a wise old tortoise named Theo, who lived in a cozy corner of the garden. Lily shared Rosie's feelings with Theo, hoping for some advice. Theo listened thoughtfully and then suggested, 'Why don't you both plant a friendship tree? It will remind you that even though you're different, your bond is strong and beautiful, just like the various flowers in this garden.'
Lily and Rosie liked the idea. They gathered colorful seeds, dug a small hole together, and planted the seeds with love. Every day, they watered the tree and watched as it grew taller and stronger. As they tended to the tree, they felt closer and happier, just like old friends they already were. Soon, the tree blossomed with vibrant flowers in different shapes and sizes, representing the uniqueness of their friendship.
'Theo was right,' said Rosie with a smile. 'Our friendship is like this garden - diverse, beautiful, and enduring.'
From that day on, whenever they felt different or left out, they visited their friendship tree. Its blossoms reminded them that their bond was precious and true.
