Once upon a time in the jumbo jungle, there lived a little elephant named Elbie. Elbie loved playing with his friends, but sometimes things didn't go his way, and he would get frustrated. One sunny day, Elbie and his friends decided to have a race to see who could stomp the loudest. They all lined up, ready to go, but just as the race started, Elbie's shoelace got tangled in a tree root. He tried and he pulled, but the stubborn shoelace just wouldn't budge, and Elbie felt frustrated.
Seeing Elbie's struggle, Wise Old Turtle waddled over and said, 'Hey there, Elbie, what seems to be the problem?' Elbie huffed and puffed and said, 'My shoelace won't budge, and now I can't join the race.' Wise Old Turtle chuckled and said, 'Let's take a breath and think about this. Sometimes things don't go as planned, but it's okay to feel frustrated. Let's untangle that shoelace together.'
Wise Old Turtle and Elbie worked together, and finally, the shoelace came loose! Elbie giggled with delight, feeling proud that he didn't let frustration get the best of him. He joined the race, and even though he didn't win, he had a blast stomping around with his friends. Elbie learned that it's okay to feel frustrated, and asking for help can turn his frown upside down.
